Prayer is vital to the spiritual life of Christians. It is one of the five tools of Christian growth. Yet this tool is under-utilized and greatly misapplied. Many profess to be Christian and never pray. Others say their prayers go unanswered. Here are the keys to dynamic prayer!
Christians pray. Prayer is talking to God. Do you know how to talk to God?

Gethsemane

We come now to one of the most poignant and important moments in Jesus’ ministry--his prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, which immediately precedes his arrest.
Timing (late at night; after Last Supper & just before arrest) and location (in an olive grove on the slopes of the Mount of Olives, just east of Jerusalem). Let’s start by reading the entire event--read Matt. 26:31-56.
I want to look at this event from two perspectives--what it teaches us about Jesus’ ministry, and what it teaches us about following Jesus.

Jesus uses two terms in this passage that provide important information about his ministry: “the hour” and “the cup.”
Jesus’ “hour” refers to the crucial stage of his ministry, during which he will either succeed or fail in his mission.
PRACTICAL PRAYER PATTERNSPENDING TIME WITH GOD
You have to promise God that you would try to spend at least an hour a day with Him, you may even promise to spend additional hour if possible in order to gain more faviour in his presence. Despite at a particular point in life one would be having a lot of responsibilities or commitments, working between 60 to 80 hours a week. . . plus family obligations, friends to spend time with, a tennis game to keep up, and down time. . . finding an additional hour a day will sound a bit impossible!
The only quickly solution to this is to set aside a specific block of time each day, in order to make this vision a reality in your life. You will found it best to have time with God at the beginning of each day when nothing would interrupt it -- no phone calls, no salespeople, no late appointments. That meant You have to get up at 5:30AM or before. The first couple of mornings went without a glitch. . .
Prepare a place
After 'preparing a time' you will find out that it would help to prepare a place. to be able to give undivided attention, you will need to find a location where there no distraction or interruptions.
